The reasons for why we dropped support for IE6, unless our clients specifically request it, are mentioned in this issue of the .net magazine - "calling time on IE6". Internet explorer six has several major security issues and has a lack of support modern website technologies.
For a much faster and secure browser we would recommend everyone using internet explorer to consider Firefox, Safari or Opera.
