Yello Studio is seeing growth - sprouting of moustaches and new additions to the team.
Movember is a month-long celebration of the moustache dedicated to highlighting the issues around mens health. We're not just doing it to look cool, we are raising money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer. Read more @ Movember.com.
The Yello Studio 'Mo Bros' and hopefully but less likely 'Mo Sistas', have started clean shaven at the beginning of Movember (formally known as November). Throughout the 30 days we will grow the most creative, outrageous facial hair known to man with the support of our clients, friends and famillies through charitable donations. The moustache is now a symbol, much like the pink ribbon is for breast cancer.
Prostate cancer will strike 1 in 6 men in their lifetime. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer for men aged 18-35. This Movember, the money raised in the U.K will be split between the Prostate Cancer Charity, The Institute of Cancer Research and the Movember Foundation.
The Prostate Cancer Charity
The Prostate Cancer Charity uses the money raised by Movember to fund key programmes that are making a real difference to the lives of men and their families affected by prostate cancer. The Institute of Cancer Research
The Institute of Cancer Research uses the money raised by Movember to fund research into male cancers, focusing on testicular cancer, to further broaden the impact on Men’s Health. For more information on the research programme funded by Movember please click here.
Movember Foundation
The Movember Foundation uses the money raised to fund two programs: an awareness and education program that significantly increases the understanding and reduces the stigmas of the health risks that men face, and Movember’s Global Action Plan that accelerates key outcomes in prostate cancer research by facilitating global research collaboration projects.
